Who Is Behind This Blog?

Hi, I’m J.T. — a mom, grandma, author, and creative visionary behind The Oration Station.

This website/blog was born from love: love for children, love for storytelling, and a deep desire to support little ones—especially those who are often overlooked. As a mom of an autistic child and a lifelong advocate for emotional growth, I created this space to help kids ages 4–8 build emotional intelligence, resilience, and communication skills—whether they speak with words, gestures, or giggles.

With characters like Ryah, C.C. the Comfort Cloud, and Chip the Keeper, I’ve poured my heart into creating inclusive stories, tools, and pintable's that spark joy, soothe overwhelm, and empower every child’s voice.

Whether you're a parent, teacher, or simply someone who believes in raising kind, confident kids—welcome. You’re part of a growing village that sees the magic in every child.

Let’s grow together. 🌱

Why “The Oration Station”?

The name “Oration Station” was chosen with intention and heart. “Oration” means the power of expression—and at this station, every child is welcome, whether they speak with words, signs, sounds, or smiles. This is a place where communication takes many beautiful forms. It’s not just a blog—it’s a platform, a safe harbor, and a creative hub where every child’s voice matters. Because here, we believe that expression is a right, not a privilege—and no voice is ever too small to be heard.

"Every voice matters—even the ones spoken through sparkles, hugs, or silence"
